I am looking for information on how to get a webservice consumed by the mobile app.
When I try to use cfinvoke, cfobject and create object directly. I get an 'Unknown' as the response.
I am running cf11 in developer mode on a Dev box and calling the webservice from a production box. I am testing using the chrome browser.
I have tested the webservice outside of the mobile app and it works as expected.
Can you give me a snippet of code that should work, or identify a setting that I may have missed that is blocking the call from inside the cfclient tags?

    Thank you

If you want to access remote CFC from cfclient, take a look at this port - CFMobile Example – Accessing remote data from mobile application (http://blogs.coldfusion.com/post.cfm/cfmobile-example-accessing-remote-data-from-mobile-application). You can directly call server-side CFC methods from cfclient. Make sure you apply the patch mentioned at the end of the article.

Alternatively you can expose CFC methods as REST services and call form cfclient using XHR (AJAX)
