Adobe ColdFusion | Announcements | ColdFusion | Video

As part of our Community Engagement initiative this year, we are planning to make various improvements with our social media channels to improve customer engagement and interaction. To make video an important part of this initiative, we are launching ColdFusion YouTube channel to showcase various videos around product news, demos, what’s new, tips & tricks and so on.

Check out the channel at http://www.youtube.com/adobecoldfusion, subscribe to it and help spread the word around and link it to your blogs.

We will be updating the content, add playlists as we go along and seek ways to add community content in future.

I’d love to get some feedback from all of you, so please comment on the YouTube channel, or here, and let us know what you think!

I would like to see some videos about the different open source ColdFusion frameworks - kind of a pro's and con's of each.

You should perhaps mention this on your own CF forums, as well as on Twitter?

I watched Ray's video on CF10, and it was pretty good!

I agree with Brian that as well as core Adobe stuff, getting some bods in from the various frameworks out there would be good too. To ensure it's got a good community focus, rather than just coming across as Adobe marketing.

    Good work so far.

    Hi Hemant,

Very cool!! Can these two presentations also please be uploaded to the YouTube channel?

    1) http://blogs.coldfusion.com/post.cfm/my-presentation-on-secure-your-apps-using-coldfusion-10
    2) http://blogs.coldfusion.com/post.cfm/catch-e-seminar-on-coldfusion-10-security-enhancements

Those are good presentations and CF10 is actually quite secure. I feel that APSA13-01 unfairly exaggerated CF10's level of vulnerability. But I can't say more on that. I hope the team will make a clarifying announcement.

    Thanks!,
    -Aaron

@Brian thanks for the suggestion. We will try to reach out to community experts to have a video on ColdFusion frameworks.

@Adam Thanks for the feedback. I will post on other forums as well.

@Aaron We plan to upload other online presentations that we do. I will check for these two presentations as well. We are also thinking of doing a series of video on security improvements that we have done in CF10, starting with secure profile.

    @Hemant,

Very cool and thanks! I like the idea of a series on security improvements.

It'd be nice if the 2012 ColdFusion Developer Week presentations could also be posted. I realize that may be complicated - or maybe not even possible.

    Thanks again!,
